GEM Innovation srl immediately set out to design a new type of product/litter that could be used while respecting animal health and avoiding heavy costs for the disposal of urban waste after use.

The use of litter for small pets (cats, rabbits, hamsters, etc.) is now common, and involves approximately 40% of the population that owns a pet.

But despite the undoubted advantages of hygiene and practicality, it creates enormous environmental problems due to the difficulty and costs of disposing of traditional litter. The initiative is therefore part of a project aimed at reducing urban waste, using plant-based products.

The company is spread over a surface area of ​​5,500 m2, and inside we have installed a brand new 4.0 generation production plant to produce plant-based litter.

Our litter is completely ecological, biodegradable and can be disposed of in organic waste, made up of hygroscopic plant fibres.
